At Rupert, Venus created "Murky Medicine Swamp" - an indoor sacred swamp art installation that holds medicinal and mystical offerings: herbal medicines, medicine of smell and stench, medicine of wet-to-dry, water-to-land substances, medicine of submerging, covering oneโ€™s skin, the medicine of reflection in the waters of bogs, the medicine of emotion, sadness, grief, and death. The performance OAKBaLLZ and EELskin (Murky Murky, Little Bitch Witch) contained a spoken word/spell that evokes the medicine and reflection of the dark waters of bogs, fens, and swamps: the medicine of emotion, sadness, grief, and death. This is followed by a direct confrontation with the audience in which Jasper inquired why they hadn't left any offerings in the swamps for decades...
